Please follow the application/enrollment link below to begin your student’s application to GCA! Once you have created an account, you will follow the prompts to complete your application. Please call our office (515-462-2600) at anytime if you need assistance.

When your application has been completed and reviewed, you will be contacted for an interview and visit.  At that interview, further admission requirements, financial discounts, tuition payments, and possible placement testing will be discussed.  If your student is transferring in from another school, report cards and standardized test results may also be required.

The enrollment process will be complete when online enrollment is completed, documentation has been received and curriculum fees are paid.  Fees are payable directly to the school office.

Discipline Policy
We believe that the Bible holds all parents responsible for the education and discipline of their children (Proverbs 22:6, Deut. 6:6-7, Ephesians 6:1-4, Proverbs 13:24, Psalm 127 & 128). The school is a partner in that process and is here for the benefit of the family unit, however, it is not the school’s responsibility for the primary discipline of children, but rather the parents.  You will find the school discipline policy outlined in the student handbook available online and through hard copy, upon request.

Previous disciplinary or educational problems need to be disclosed to the school directory and staff during the enrollment process. Falsification of information or withholding pertinent information in these areas may lead to a request by the school for withdrawal. Grace Christian Academy may, at any time, request the withdrawal of a student who is not in harmony with the spirit of the school regardless of whether or not he/she conforms to specific rules.

Non-discrimination Policy
GCA admits students of any race, color, national, or ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally made available to students at the school. GCA does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national, or ethnic origin in the administration of its educational and admissions policies, or any school-administered programs.

A Privilege not a Right
Whereas, the secular philosophy of education states that every student has a “right” to their education, a christian philosophy states that it is a “privilege” to attend a Christian school. Not every child/family will be a good fit for us. We may not be the ‘perfect’ fit for every family. We will strive to meet each child’s needs. Our families need to be spiritually like-minded and in agreement with our statement of faith, philosophy, mission, standards of education, student handbook, and strive to work alongside our school/teachers/staff. We are a “bonafide religious institution”, as defined in Iowa Code 216. We desire that each student’s experience at GCA will advance their academic progress and personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
