Our Mission

We are committed to providing your child with an excellent academic education with a Biblical Worldview. The Bible commands parents to instruct and train their children in the truths of the Scripture, so that their hearts will remain tender to the calling of Christ (Deut.6:5-7; Mark 10:13-16 & 2 Timothy 3:15). We count it a privilege to partner with parents in shepherding their children to this end.

In a culture where there are no absolutes, we believe the Bible to be the infallible, inspired Word of God, unchanging it its truth (Psalm 119:89), given to us for our benefit, our correction and instruction (2 Timothy 3:16-17). Therefore, we seek to integrate its principles and truths into every aspect of our curriculum and daily routines.

Our staff are committed believers in Christ and seek to model His life and teachings to their students whether in the classroom or on the playground. Our goal is to equip students in their most important area which is spiritual development, so that, they may become all God intended for them to be (Proverbs 22:6).

At GCA, we implement the A Beka curriculum. It provides a traditional philosophy and approach to instruction which is God-centered, teacher directed, and strong in the fundamentals of reading, writing and arithmetic. This research based curriculum, written by master teachers, has stood the test of time and has been used successfully in the instruction of children for over 50 years. Its scope and sequence are carefully designed to review, practice, and build upon the foundation laid in the previous year.

We believe that in order for a child to have a positive learning experience, they must learn to read well. The A Beka curriculum has a reputation for an “”intensive, explicit” phonics reading program, which equips children to begin reading at the end of their first year of preschool and continues integrating phonics rules into spelling, language and writing in each successive year.

In Ecclesiastes 4:12, we are reminded that a “three-fold cord is not quickly broken”. We believe that when the school partners with the parents and the Holy Spirit on the child’s behalf, an extra strength and protection allows that child to develop in a safe and nurturing environment. Grace Christian Academy counts it a privilege to be a part of that team.
